You never been in a painful accident before? An accident that you are aware of right before it hits you?
Its the shock + adrenaline. Once that wear off the pain will come. Happened to me once fell down from my bicycle and scrapped my knee badly. I didnt even know or feel a piece of meat dangle at my leg until i reached a nearby clinic. And of course i cycled there.
