I am running on 500mbps Unifi, currently using 3 x Tenda triband mesh on wireless backhaul but only support up to 300mbps and want to upgrade.
Which mesh is good for wireless backhaul and can support 500mbps under 2.4ghz?
weird iirc tri-band(2.4Ghz, 5Ghz & 5Ghz) should allowed to use dedicated is 5Ghz(should be top), then your device still can connect using 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz,
dual-band either ranger/penetration vs throughput. backhaul using 2.4Ghz limited speed, backhaul 5Ghz limited range. your device can only connect either 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz
to really archive 500Mbps without any bottleneck, best using wired as backhaul (nothing beat this and effective)
wireless backhaul, unforeseen radio congestion during peak time (condo, apartment, flat). density of the wall/floor and placement
you will get better speed in morning 9am, same place same location 9pm, the speed seems to slow down.
sorry I'm not a mesh user.
