I think it was your setting. If not, if your camera under waranty, why not you try to sent to them. Canon's service is good!

Canon Customer Service in Malaysia far better compare to nikon. This is through my friend experiences.

This is one the story from my friend. He own both D70s and and Canon 30D. For D70s, flash cant fired. They check the camera. They need at least 2 weeks to fully check it. And finally get his camera back after nearly 1 month. He was charged Rm600 for minor part. And for his 30D...The shutter was stuck. Warranty just end about 1 month before that. They called back after 4 working days. FOC! Even, they loan their camera (350 i think), because my friend use to work as wedding photographer. And he really need camera that time. (after a good bodek la of coz)

Yup, Canon after sales service is way ahead of Nikon, at least in Malaysia. Once, my old camera (Canon S1 IS) got some problem with ccd and they just replaced it with S3 IS no question asked....
