There is a MOE circular against such advertising in schools.
No where on earth are cigarettes, gambling or alcohol advertising allowed in schools.
Such advertising is also not allowed on TV or any of the main stream media in Malaysia.
The main problem with this issue is that the school decided to hold the fund-raising event in the school itself.
They should have held the event outside the schools then no one will complain.
Another problem with this issue is the lame denial from the Amanah MP initially and then she was forced to backtrack when photos of her double thumbs up on top and below the large Tiger logo became viral.
