The uplines and team always host weekly meetings to do teambuilding, first entice newbies with financial freedom/build own business then slowly rope you in and surround you with 'family/friend' feeling. Like this many ppl sure fall into it. Lonely folks young and old attend a few session will also become committed until willing to spend some money every month buy overpriced things like subscription to continue to be a part of the family. Not saying that real relationship cannot be made there, just that deep down they all know that making money is the basis of their relationship.

But, also not everyone can be good upline leader. Many just cannot hide their true intention well. Can feel that they are not genuine. So they will often come in group to brain wash newbies.

Unker don't blame newbies, the world can be a cold place and it is not easy to make real friends once become adult. suddenly surrounded by friendly ppl show interest in you, give time to 'grow' you, want to see you 'success'. Even the most introvert ppl can kena brain washing.
