I knew about bitcoin when most people didn't know about it. A guai lou friend came to me and told me about this bitcoin thingy and told me he sold it for usd10 (he knew i bought a RTX 295 and told me he also using the same GPU, but was for farming bitcoin).

After x years he came to me again, that time bitcoin was around usd 100+, he told me he regretted sold the bitcoin for usd10. He already stopped farming bitcoin after he sold his first farmed bitcoin for usd10.

When bitcoin up to usd300+-, he came to me again and we chit chat abit.

Damn! He was like an angel kept coming back to contact me to inform me i should look into this bitcoin thingy! If i could spend a bit of time to understand it and purchase a few biji of bitcoins that time, i might add a few millions into my net worth...

life experiences teaches us along this journey, make sure you don't repeat again, and it's never too late to invest whatever you have missed out.

If I pay according to term, I will still save 18k even account for the legal and la valuation fee, not a lot. Could have saved much more if I refinance earlier. Interest rate was 5.25%, after refinance, 3.95%

So far only managed to sell off a few. Thing is with ChiFi the products keep pumping out with speed. The IEMs bought 1-2 months ago would have passed the hype stage and replaced with a new shiny. mega_shok.gif

Now I sometimes get really itchy to buy new ones to try but not crazy like last time anymore.

Perhaps another financial mistake I had was listening to a millionaire friend to invest in a particular stock. My advise is to do your own homework instead of blindly following. In my case, this guy was really close to me and he had good investing returns. However I later realize that most of these people had invested earlier before they inform others, and you become their bag holders. There were a bunch of IPOs that he was privi to but has never offered me any opportunity to get in early on the pretext of "its risky". I did not lose too much but its something I wished I had put more thoughts into when I was younger.

Looks like Bitcoin investments stand out to be quite a 'big regret' in topics like this worldwide.

But forummers,... we must understand,... this is a hindsight matter. We can't regret on misses because of hindsights. Instead, we must cherish our prudence and cautiousness that we have not lost money in case BTC turned south, though,... the reverse happens for this particular case.

I tell myself the same thing too as in the above,.. though, I also, at times,... say to myself : 'shld have invested into BTC earlier',....

Actually it’s quite obvious BTC would thrive if you’re into tech.

The network is a huge factor in it. But most people dismissed/overlooked the network and claimed it doesn’t have intrinsic value when you shouldnt compare stocks and crypto.

Stocks = business (cashflow)
Crypto = money (network effect)

Everyone can create a Bitcoin 2.0 coin but nobody will have the same huge network effect to the original Bitcoin. Most people can’t understand it sadly

Hindsight is always 2020, foresight is always blind.
No need to regret on something that is so obvious now.
