Many years back I bought some furniture like coffee table. Bar chairs..dining chair..light fixtures, table lamps.. that time tried to save money.. which I regretted, end up rebuying most of them locally because of the poor quality. Wasted quite a bit of money and lesson learnt. I suppose if you know how to source quality ones then it's fine? I've seen some people with quality taobao furniture. Else i wouldn't do it again if you ask me.. Most of the items arrived intact.. maybe just one or two having some dents. Penny wise pound foolish for me that time.

sometimes it's kinda hit or miss when it comes to bulky shipment

probably end up getting dents here n there

or maybe will need some diy to get things fixed if there is any upon arrival

don't buy the cheapest, look for those Tmall or solid reviews. i used own china forwarding company, and remind the warehouse help you pack for overseas shipping. last time before covid the price for sea shipping is lower.. i forgot the exact price haha
