Status is still under “processing”, but at least the Apple Store app is now saying to check in tomorrow, and that it will be ready for pickup tomorrow. Exciting!

Nice! I'm really hoping it will be a smooth process, kinda worried it'll get crowded in the store as if I remember their pickup counter is really small.

I would also be really impressed if we would be able to pickup the phones at the exact times stated. Somehow I think we would be waiting a long time if there are many customers in the backlog asking questions and buying cases and screen protectors and what not

How’s everyone’s experience with the screen protector offerings so far this year?

Applied my Torras protector at the Apple Store yesterday immediately after unboxing. Thought it looked fine until I completed the data transfer. GG the black borders are eating into the screen very so slightly at the “L” edges in the camera app.

Read on the SG forum that several other brands have issues too, apparently ugreen is ok this year? Smartdevil has border issues. Read about some screen responsiveness issues with the Spigen ez fit as well.

Perhaps it may be worth investing in the Apple Store Belkin Ultra Glass this year as the thin bezels are giving a lot of trouble.

Aside from that, the store pickup and setup experience at TRX yesterday was incredible! Initially thought I would just take the phone and go home for the data migration process, then I realized everyone sitting on the first floor were being assisted in this process. I certainly could have done it myself but it did feel nice to be assisted by the staff for any questions we needed, and it was fun socializing with Apple geeks in the area too! Data transfer of about 270GB from my 15 Pro Max only took about an hour which is faster than previous years. All done just in time for dinner at TRX.
