this comparison is exactly what i’m looking for. i’m on 13p plan to upgrade to ip16pm, but can’t seems to justify the upgrade. thanks for the table, really appreciate it.
seems like that if telco not offering plans under 100. Used to be able to buy device bundle with low monthly, eg celcom ip13p bought with celcom98 plan. But now, on celcom 40, means need to add on unncecessary monthly bill on top of device price. anyone seen umobile device bundle ?
I pre-ordered from umobile. After some calculation, it's cheaper to buy the phone with U68 plan compared to buying it from Apple Store. Currently using GX55 postpaid plan with unlimited high speed internet but only 5gb for hotspot. The U68 plan offered by umobile for the phone bundle is a lil bit more expensive with only 300gb of data but can be shared as hotspot. Honestly I don't even use that much data from the line as I've wifi everywhere at home and office. In average, just around 10-20gb/month so 300gb will be good enough for two years. But someone who doesn't have any other internet options might needs more.seems like that if telco not offering plans under 100. I pre-ordered Iphone 16 pro 512gb. Device price offered by Umobile is around RM 5409 compared to retail price RM 6499. So in my case, I save a lot more in device price while the postpaid plan is not much different (55 vs 68). Plus Im buying it cash without using epp or any instalment so the lower device price is always good lol.
