i think most AASP (authorised resellers) will throw some sort of freebies to entice people to buy from them, we know SenQ offers the 1 year additional warranty extension, while others like switch might offer RM48 for the extra year warranty + other freebies etc....

they are keeping it secretive till the launch 8pm tonight, but i think most resellers will offer something, while apple you get the better after sales/ CS, nothing else...

from last years' experience (iphone 15), most early adopters paid full RRP while others who are willing to wait for 2nd/3rd batch got all the juicy discounts (I remember there was a rebate of up to 1k++ for those who waited 2-4 weeks after pre-order), so yea....

guys, for those who purchase from Apple store, before payment page, theres a section to enter your Tax TIN code and number, thats for tax purpose, dont forget to enter or you might not be entitled for tax exemption...

Received my email around 8.20pm, just a confirmation email with details. The official pdf receipt will come later..

Yes just follow the transfer setup at the begining when setting up your phone, for first timer might take a few tries (for some reason WhatsApp might stuck at the finalizing stage), also take note the process only works on a device that starts from scratch (factory reset), if process fail u will have to factory reset and redo again..YouTube has all the guides.

Anyone PO from Apple Store receive pick up confirmation email? I received the processing email right after PO that day and written pick up on 20th but they havent charge my card nor send me any pick up confirmation email..

You can try your luck at TRX on the 20th, if you are not particular with colour and variants I think you can get something, just be early as there will be queue for walkins..

They are giving discounts coz OpenAI is not available in china..so their devices have no AI hmmm

Yeap mine was charged on Tuesday night, but no further email with pick up details, apple website status still stuck at processing but they updated to 'check in tomorrow".

Haha yes intentionally set to pick up at night so can enjoy dinner then pick up, will probably pick up later tho around 9 ish..
