honestly Apple Intelligence is just another ‘revamp’ of Siri. been using the Dev Beta for almost 2 months now, it doesn’t seem polished and it is gonna take a long while before it fully matures.

got posted in Australia years back, before coming back I opted for the refurbished set from apple store ( iPhone + iPad ) with brand new battery, they took out a seal black pelican box and opened it in front of you. I didn't notice any scratch marks etc on the refurbished units. looks brand new to me at that time lol   

I was at TRX earlier to trade in my iPad Mini 6, got the amount in a gift card form. Anyway, as usual it’s super crowded. While waiting for the diagnosis tool to run I chatted with the girl who attended to me, she said typically 15k visitors per day during weekends in the Apple Store TRX. Initially Apple recruited around 110 staffs but now increased to 200 ish to fulfill the customers flux. Oh wow.

Am I the only one here not having a pleasant experience with iOS 18.1?

I feel like my notifications are coming in slowler than usual. For example WhatsApp, if I’m on the Home Screen where my WhatsApp icon is, the notification badge on the icon will show up first, then 1-2 seconds later only I’ll receive the notification banner.
Notification for banking apps are much slower too. Whenever I need to approve a transaction on maybank app, it’ll take like 8-10 seconds for the notification to show up. I think previously I click request approval from PC and I’ll receive the approval notification almost instantly on my phone.

Not to mention scrolling and typing feels laggy af. It doesn’t feel like a high refresh rate screen, scrolling feels like 60hz especially in shopee app. Not sure if the app is poorly optimized or iOS issue. I don’t recall having any of these issues before iOS 18.2
