just phoned apple malaysia customer support about other stuff, asked about AP4 release date; they dont know either and suggested to check the site time to time.

Personal findings and conclusion.

Desert Titanium = the face of the IPhone 16 Pro series, light yellow white / pink gold under natural / bright daylight lighthing; easily coupled with a lot of cases like the white does as the 2 kinda share the same color tone? For me it was awkward right between not exactly white / not exactly pink pastel like iphone 15 / not exactly pink like the iphone 16. Under natural lighthing; it looked like darker shade of white
White Titanium = Whitest it has ever been; a loud color imo; but very clean look (minus the stove top camera lens are even more apparent) ; easily coupled with a lot of cases
Black Titanium = Blackest it has ever been; hides 90% of the stove top camera lens giving it a very minimalist look unlike the others; prone to finger print and scratches will seem apparent and absorbs heat easily if going caseless and under the sun.
Natural Titanium = Professional color; middle ground; Best color to chose if going to use the phone naked imho, less prone to finger print and micro scratches.


Personally i took into account the type of case i am going to use; i would use the silicone type of casing like the below.




So i went with white since "the whitest it has ever been" pique my interest; its going to be in a case anyway so the idea of seeing a clean white in my case after X amount of times seemed like something i want.

Else if i were to rock it caseless; Natural Titanium for sure.

haha depend on his wife's preference. Honestly cant go wrong with 1 of the choices if you take into account how will it goes with case in the end. (i still cannot accept going caseless)

I just want a screen protector that works . No need for fluff like privacy , blue light filter etc as i understood they all come with pitfalls unless thats different nowadays ? Cherry on top if it applies like it doesnt exist.

OH the XR , its the current device i am using and its showing ages these days which is a shame. I enjoyed my time with my Red XR.


Can i send it back to Apple for recycle (some cash back?) i wonder ? I know telco offer those kind of services , but is it a thing i can send it Apple Malaysia for evaluation sell back value ?

Last i tried their apple Silicone for XR was shit. The cheap as f ones from China lasted the same...

99% battery health as i got an original battery replacement at the tail end of 2024.


Listed on facebook market for RM 500 on a whim to give it a shot as i never listed an item before but i was told XR had the value of around RM600+ as shown by friend last year, half hours later i checked already 5 people pm-ed for it.

Was honestly surprised, Why though ?

Do people actually still look for unit as old as the XR to use ? Is it for their kid as their first phone maybe?

Oh my , is it ? I bought one from Elago before but its for my mom's Samsung S21 + . Its not sticky though.

Felt almost the same as my cheap silicone case. The Elago one still retain the same silicone feel while my cheap ones felt more like hard plastic now

Yea that threw a wrench in my plan to wait for 17 series and decided to just settle for 16 Pro.

no brainer would, thats why i got myself 16 Pro. Original plan was 17 Pro on release. Oh well. Apparently the 16 has some sleeper improvement under the hood; likely the last variant of the triple stove design (assuming all the 17 leaks were all real).

really ? Now i am intrigued at the confidence to state that, any basis to support that ?

For me i believe there would be a domino effect even though on tariff's definition it wouldnt affect us directly (on purchasing an iphone that is)
