Didn’t have that when I PO mine. The instructions is really… Apple charge card and status shipping, they drop email instructions asking 1) scheduled courier 2) drop off at pos laju.

Maybe instructions changed since? Also, I called Apple, you preorder online, follow email instructions, can’t walk in TRX trade in phone. Only when you go store trade in, u do so there.

But pick up.. u need luck… when place order put pickup option and must have slot at the time of checkout. Else won’t work. Don’t have option to change from delivery to pickup once place order.


Now I feel bit better. Else wasted me spend like 10 mins key in that TIN.


It’s faster definitely… I had the chance to pick up 20th Sept when I place order. But the thought of TRX and queue. Nope… even when 21st.. 22nd etc didn’t opt. I was helping my friends to get it.

Gxbank no problem for me too. But not just debit card, certain credit card will cause issue for me.

I have 200gb or so data, tried with wireless quick start, showing 6 hours. 1 hours plus still going.

Stopped it and use lightning to usb c (13pm to 16pm), took 1 hour ish only.

Need to connect cable during initial steps, I tested halfway, it doesn't work.

2) RHB - unregister from old phone. Activate Secure Plus at ATM
3) Grab - just login on new phone
4) Rize - just login on new phone. 12 hours cooling off period
5) GXBank - selfie verification. 12 hours cooling off period
6) TNG ewallet - selfie verification, either passkey or pin.
7) MBSB - worrying. Just think new iPhone is old iPhone.
8) SCB - need to call in customer support to get new SC mobile key temp pin.
9) Ambank - verification via ATM debit card PIN number. 12 hours cooling off period
10) Allianz bank - website to unregister, Terminate mobile access. Can’t do it since need mobile app to generate code. Duh!!
Went back old phone to terminate. Using SMS (charge money) to get code. 12 hours cooling off.
11) AEON bank - uses email to authentication. 12 hours cooling off
12) Boost Bank - best implementation, will prompt whether you dont have old device, instructions to remove from old. 12 hours cooling off.
13) Public Bank - register on new phone and head to ATM to enable PB SecureSign
14) Boost wallet - just login on new phone.
15) Hlb - worryin. Just login on new phone.

Also my tips, for Apple Pay, if you using esim, dont activate during setup. Just skip until esim is sorted out. Seems common sense, but at that setup time, brain dont comprehend it until later.

Topic A - Screen protector: Flolab screen protector is excellent. Installation is easy with the tool. Edges need to use squeegee to push out bubble. Lacking a bit with others like Xone. Flolab supporter for long time. I would highly recommend.

Topic B - Case: So far, really need cases with camera control button built-in with case. Cases with cut outs, feels bad/weird controlling it.

1) Apple silicon case - the feeling is the best
2) Spigen Magfit T hybrid - the fit is good. The camera control button not as nice feel as Apple (obviously). But if you like clear case, by all means.

I got other cases with camera cut offs, how nicely the cut outs, just doesn't fit 16 series.


Topic C - Wired charging, it peaks at 30W. reaching 60% already taper off to 13-15W. 80% is 10W.

But back on track, set up bank apps took longer. Somehow setup screw up my Bluetooth devices connection to non Apple stuff, Garmin, car Bluetooth, shockz earbud. Never had this problem before. Apple sabo or ios 18 issue? Or random setup bug..

No longer Usd1 already, it used to be. Now is like USD $7-8 for shipping.

Replacement in 2023 and 2022. My niece and gf, managed to drop from very high height and shatter screen protector, but phone is fine. It was for Samsung s23 and iPhone XS Max.

My flolab installed on my ip13pm from day one till now. Minor drop but still good.
