The megapixel game for smartphones are mostly marketing, in the end they are still limited to the camera sensor size. You won't see any significant DNR differences even if it is 12mp vs 108mp, in fact the 108mp will most of the time perform worse than the 12mp.

The Spigen clear case you have is it TPU side with hard PC back? Or the whole case is soft TPU?

But it is a TPU case right? Not TPU side with PC back plate. The biggest difference is TPU will easily yellow, but with back PC it will remain clear, with only the sides TPU yellowing.

The Pitaka looks nice, but will wait till end of this month/next until they release the updated version where they fixed the lip...

How do you feel about there being no lip protection with TG on? If your phone drops face flat your screen gets the first point of impact

No la definitely not thinking of rugged use, even normal day to day use, sometimes when a bit clumsy drop even from low height 4ft etc, it'll be safer to have some lip protection. But their current cases the TG is protruding out from the lip, even if you just lie your phone on the table face down, the TG is on the surface instead of the case lip.

That was on my radar as well, unfortunately also suffers from low lip from reviews.
Pitaka mentioned they will update their cases with higher lip to suit TG by end of this month/next. I'm impatiently waiting

Ohh, I already have Insurance so not that worried. But cosmetic damages is not covered you know, and I’m OCD with my stuffs 😁
Pitaka has the ‘military grade’ option, so they do have some drop protection although not as good as those bulkier cases.

Anyone dropped their iPhone yet? I've already dropped a few times since I got it... maybe around 5 times?

Just get an external SSD, I hate using iCloud with photos/videos.

The updated Pitaka case is unfortunately only for the Military grade cases. Ended up just getting the slimmer woven cases.
Both Sunset & Moonrise looks super nice, but my OCDness might make me return them to repurchase again.

My moonrise is quite straight. Only my sunset the line is tilted a bit higher towards the right side 😅

That’s overpriced, I got the moonrise for RM205 and sunset for RM223.
I’m sure it’ll be even cheaper on 11.11
