Anyone with the official clear case can give a bit of feedback? Is the case slippery? Cuz sometimes when my hands are sweaty or oily the spigen ultra hybrid T becomes a bit uncomfortable and ‘geli’ to hold

I think slippery is not the right word, it should be sticky haha like the sweat and finger grease makes the case sticky.

Ya I think I’ll have to skip those transparent cases. This year the case options sucks man since most manufacturers doing cutout

I’m a huge fan of Hoda, been using their sapphire glass for my 13PM for 3 years now only crack. Their 16 Series actually does block the right side of the screen. Using the XHS image thing to check border is not very accurate, just go to the camera app and there’s 4 corners in the viewfinder, Hoda’s AR TG(the one I’m using) covers the right side a bit, left side is completely fine.

Spigen doesn’t block any of the screen cuz their TG is always much smaller, Hoda pretty much covers the entire front part of the phone, Spigen just covers the screen part. Also Hoda’s AR is really very good, don’t get much reflection. Might just use it until flolab’s new revision comes out.

No I don’t think there’s any downside aside from the right block border slightly blocking the screen (very minimal), but then again I think this is an issue with all the HODA’s 16 series.

If u don’t mind this then I highly recommend u get it over the Spigen ones. The Spigen ones are pretty basic and doesn’t cover the entire front screen. Because it doesn’t go edge to edge there will be a lot of dust that will get caught on the side of the TG. But that’s just my experience la.

I noticed this flickering issue a couple of times too, doesn’t happen very often. I think I’ve seen it like 3-4 times during my 2 weeks usage. Unsure how to replicate it, seems to be happening very randomly.

I am currently using this case that has the camera control button and it works pretty well, better than supcase.

I also bought a couple of transparent cases like the Spigen one with the camera control button, they all work pretty well and much cheaper than Spigen ones

I bought 2 different colors and one of the camera control button not very sensitive, the other one works fine. The button can be removed so I just switch the working camera button to the case I want to use.

Nice, I bought the one with covered camera area. It’s a very slim case, offers very minimal protection. Doesn’t even have front lip if use screen protector. But I like slim cases so idm hehe

I’m using tempered glass with this case and yes it has very minimal
lip but the tempered glass is not higher than the side wall of the case.

For anyone that likes simple and slim case I can’t recommend this case enough, phone feels very slim and very grippy. The case has camera control button too, it’s my favourite case for my 16PM so far.

Get this instead, this has AR. I’ve been using it for a week and it’s amazing. Not too expensive, and the class really covers edge to edge, even the earpiece speaker grill is covered so dust wont enter. AR feature works well and the installation was super easy with 0 bubbles. Can’t recommend this enough.

Thats weird, maybe have to wait a while. I changed my language to English (US) and the beta program did not appear immediately. I waited about 15-30 seconds (swipe around home screen) and when i check again the beta program is available. But i doubt the region change affects anything so as long as it works should be no problem.

On a side note, i have no idea what additional features does this AI thing have hahaha like no difference from SIRI, just new animations.

Ya I think need to enable AI only can get the animation but I could be wrong.

Also this update does not fix the screen flickering issue, I still get it sometimes on lockscreen. Quite annoying.

the flickering happens randomly, if bring to CS they'll ask me to replicate and i dont think i can.
Most commonly it happens on the lockscreen, like u press power button to wake up the phone and the screen will flicker once. Doesnt happen every time, just once in a while.

It's honestly very very very hard to capture on camera, cuz it happens randomly.
Even on reddit many returned their phone and got a replacement and the flickering will happen again after some time. I suspect its a software issue and probably all 16 models are affected, but some users might not notice it cuz didnt pay much attention. The flickering happens for like half a second, if u blink u might missed it haha

Ya like yesterday i was in my Photos app, then i closed it and lock the phone.
When I click the power button to wake my phone up, the screen flickered and a smaller version of my Photos app appeared for like a split second on the lower half of the screen. It happened very very fast but i managed to see it happen. It's really weird, some people say that turning off AOD will fix the issue, but AOD is very useful for me so i guess i'll just have to live with it till they fix this bug.

Why are all the useful features only on safari
As a chrome user this would be so useful for me, hate ads.
