Even though both slim case but I think can’t compare as both different material and type.

For that Benks, last year I also buy black as I feel the black design much pretty. ☺️ The white is in cart but didn’t check out yet as can’t decide. I never seen real unit photo in white before also. 😅

I think it’s longer now, until now I still haven’t been granted.

I just asked apple support. They say doesn’t cover cosmetic scratches. 🥺

I guess have to live with this light scuff mark on the corner…
Also another surprise is titanium is doing its job… compared to my ip13, a fall this height dented the corner frame. This time only the surface paint got scratched…

Maybe you guys get bored with my trade-in fiasco with Apple but if you are interested to know, read on.

So, I told the CS Manager I have been dealing with since last week that I will be filing a case with the Malaysia Consumer Tribunal against Apple.

She called back and told me she understood my predicament and that it was the right thing to do because it was a significant sum of money. She told me there are other customers who are facing this issue as well, and they are all Malaysia-based customers. Some still haven't received the refund and theirs were completed before mine. She revealed that Apple contracted to a third-party merchant to process the money but it seems there is issue over there. So this merchant is now dealing with the banks to fix it. I think she mentioned the third party merchant but I forgot the name, it has F and V in it.

Since I will be travelling overseas today and she is ashamed that there is no ETA could be provided to me, hopefully when I return next week there is some good news. Nevertheless, if this is not resolved until I'm back, I will file a case against Apple.

She said Apple takes customers' complaint seriously and with my case lodged against them will definitely make an impact.

I was at TRX earlier to trade in my iPad Mini 6, got the amount in a gift card form. Anyway, as usual it’s super crowded. While waiting for the diagnosis tool to run I chatted with the girl who attended to me, she said typically 15k visitors per day during weekends in the Apple Store TRX. Initially Apple recruited around 110 staffs but now increased to 200 ish to fulfill the customers flux. Oh wow.

The iPhone trade-in is not yet solved but at least found the root cause now. Yeah earned RM 500.

As long you have the phone limited to eg. 80%, when connected it always draws power from the supply once done charge to 80%...

Probably the same when using wireless charger as well.

I'm interested with PD charging.

Is there any MagSafe powerbank that it is PD charging rated?

Yeah, you are right. I just saw it too. 7.5W or 15W is a tad slow for me though I'm already having 15W now.

When phone at 100%, also stops charging and direct use power from the source la I assume.

Mine uses less than 1W when arrive at 80%... when turn on the screen then usage jumps up to 5-8W.

Today with some free time at the Switch while waiting for my phone to be returned to me, I tried roughly 5 Iphone pro/pro max. Only 1 in the store showed blue.

In my total experience with this issue, I have seen 3 units with issue, tested about 10 units total.
I am honestly peeved with Apple right now, and I think it will take a lot more to earn back my trust after this. I am tied to iOS yes but I don't have contract with them.
My thoughts right now is don't buy 17. Anyway my upgrade cycle is easily 3 years+, so by then Iphone 20 release and I will likely buy 19, hopefully it is all good with no issue. Otherwise no go.
