just wanna share some thoughts of my own experience.

i've never attended any piano lessons in my life and im 20 now

been to my friends house 1 day and saw that he has a keyboard a super cheap keyboard those u can get at Toycity in the shopping malls

He has his own piano now since he "outgrew" the keyboard so he gave it to me. I've since practiced using Youtube and i manage to learn 2 songs from Final Fantasy X Suteki da ne and To Zanarkand however I only remember the keys and not actually read the notes which is the only dilemma

anyways just my 2 cents. you could always train on a keyboard and find a piano to play with later on its the same keys just different tone and pressure (for the keys because different piano have different key weight)
