Hi old timers.

Looking for advice.

I am considering to buy Prism+ TV 65 inch model. For home usage, a friend say try to buy but none of them really bought it.

Can anyone using or with experience share some review of this brand?

Because all their online review seem paid (too much nice words).

Wanna know like:

- product reliability
- warranty claim and support (easy or dun care type?)
- product itself
- platform to buy (lazada, shopee, or from their website)?

Prism+ is a OEM brand , import cheap models from China and brand as themself.

Quality: 2/5

OEM buatan Cina, might as well buy reputable Chinese brand, like Hisense or Xiaomi.

Got info that their TV panel is from PANDA Electronics CN.

But all other "branded" CN brands does the same thing.

i will avoid brand that use a lot of those so called KOL and influencer to promote their brand

i bought 1 from these brands, same model as per advertised, product is good, realibility also good, their support team respond also good but jeng jeng jeng...i dont know myb is it just me only la...somehow ngam2 after my warranty finish like 2-3 days after..suddenly my tv kaput..no picture blank=, but sound ada...i chat to their support team and this is where thing going down la again myb its just me, they say they have kedai that can help repair and will get back to me asap, tunggu punya tunggu no news so i chat again with them and they respond they actually dont have any kedai that can repair the tv...and they said what they can do is by giving me if im not mistaken 20% discount from the same tv model, and instantly i become so disappointed, tought boleh repair but instead they give discount to get new one, so in the end i hantar kedai tv repair and they charge me rm590, so far tv doing good takda masalah...hopefully la hahaha

if you don have requirement on quality picture or sound, just need a cheap tv to watch astro, yes, you can get prism+.

prism not good for movie, not for gaming.

Used to buy 5pcs of prism tv for corporate use. My advice is just topup a bit get samsung. Better value for money, and less headache. Prism+ a lot of dead pixels.

Hisense, TCL almost market globally, and penetrated EU/US region.
I dont find any Xiaomi TV in their recommendation at all.

IN 2024 Summer, Best Budget Range, currently Hisense was their pick.

They do extensive test.

Go for TCL.

TV no need so good quality one la. Go to the shop fire up the youtube/netflix app. Browse to the video of your favorite movie that u watched 10 times. See the details. Compare every TV with same method.

Choose the one u think is clearest. If cheap just lok your credit card arrange delivery. Be happy.

Don't bother with online reviews. All of it is fake as fuck. Sponsored. Everyone also has their own unique preferences.

Quality not good, last u 5 years is better than those that 15 years till no spoil. Cos u don't get to buy new TV if old one didnt spoil. I bought a damn good one 13 years ago. Till now not spoil i cannot change, use also tak syok cos no 4K, only 1080p (14 years back it's second top of the line, now is top from bottom).

I bought sony tv. So far 5 years already still good

I liked it... value for money and it has DTS surround sound, so I didn't need a soundbar. Mine are both 55" (quite old already, at least a few years old), but still going strong. I converted from Samsung over to Prism because back when they started, they were literally giving away TVs for almost free. No regrets.

For me, as a gamer, Hisense is the cheapest in the market, that offers VRR, 120hz and 4k. TCL does come close.

My Hisense spoilt after 1 year half. Sent to Hisense, model discontinued, so cannot repair. They refunded me total amount, save the transport fee, and I bought another Hisense, because it's the only one I can afford.

My previous Sony tv also spoilt within 2 years.

I guess TV nowadays are not made to last, unlike those big buttocks olden TV
