interesting, about 6mb/s at full speed. But you need a pc/hotspot nearby to use it.
Eye-fi - Wireless SD card, where's the CF version?

Added on November 3, 2007, 1:59 amUpdate: Just got a email reply from eye-fi customer service Discussion Thread --------------------------------------------------------------- Response (Robb) - 11/02/2007 10:56 AM calvin, Thank you for contacting EyeFi. Currently, that is not a supported configuration. We have not tested the SD2CF adaptor, and as for the wifi, the card is not set up to be a wireless interface for mobile web browsing. Thank you. Robb 11/02/2007 10:48 AM Can the SD card be plugged into a Compact flash SD adapter (http://the-gadgeteer.com/assets/eagletec-sd2cf-adapter1.jpg) to be used with a DSLR like D200? Will the wifi work? The adapter has to be fast enough though. I've a couple SD cards lying around that I dont use and would want to use an SD2CF adapter but the speed of those adapters are tooo slow.

Then I guess the only solution would be to either to live with the slow speed or spend more on faster CF cards. |
