Good day everyone, i noticed the baby formula post had been dated years back. Currently, my baby girl just over 6 months now and now still feeding with breast milk and supplement with Nestle NAN. Since my wife milk production getting lesser, might need to focus on Nestle NAN till 13 months then change to other.
I would want to know if i can continue with Nestle NAN till 13 months then change into other sustainable baby formula. Any recommendation on the other sustainable follow up baby formula?
used to feed my baby enfagrow and breast milk.
if u look around, usually the expensive ones have more DHA content.
we stopped for a while when the fake milk issue happened, while waiting for Enfagrow to replace the milk (because we were suspicious on the formula, Enfagrow sent someone to pick it up and then replace them with verified Enfagrow formula.
while on this "pause" baby only fed with breast milk. and lo and behold, because of no other choice, breast milk supply suddenly increased (the baby stimulates the production) and endup stop with formula altogether.
so my proposal is, breast milk first choice, but if u want to use formula, try getting the ones that has what your kids need. For me it was the DHA content (although not proven if it helps with brain development) Maybe u have the DHA from other source (fish oil etc) so just buy formula that has the other vitamins/minerals etc.
