Never, even after 1000 years

Until now, India just a continent, not a real country.

Caste system, 100+ languages, states with sovereignty and regional autonomy, different taxation / laws, religion and land acquisition issues hinder the development of India.

What they need is a strong leader like ancient China Qin Shi Huang for a proper and thorough reformation in a nation. In fact, they will never have such luck in future.
