So I was curious about Gen-Z obsession with gacha

So I thought what the hell and tried it
2 months in I already spent around RM60 for bullshit extra energy to speed up levelling process. Basically Netflix subscription price.
Then I did some math on the premium currency
Wow, I thought. What a ripoff.
Assuming that you need 1200 gems for 100 pulls.
Ignoring the bonus bullshit they throw in to confuse you, you are looking at RM0.025 for a piece of gem. You can get the gems at this price only if you are patient. They distribute the gem daily for 30 days. In the end you got yourself 1200 gems.
If you are impulsive gambler though, I got bad news for you. If you prefer to get the gems you bought directly to your inbox, you are looking at RM0.075/gem.
Basic economic is when demand is more than supply, price will naturally increase.
But in gachanomic, supply is not an issue. So they replace supply with time. If you got no time to wait for the gems, and if you really need it, then you need to pay more money.
Then they up it a notch with the confusing gem pack which is designed to sink their claws into your jugular. So you need only 1200 gems for 10 pull? Good news, now you can get 1600 gems for only RM120!
What a great idea.
So fellow k, if you want to do business, maybe create a gacha gaming company.
