I have to xiaomi tower fan. was good till it started to become very noisy, like some broken bearing or some plastic scrapping sound.

end up I down grade to panasonic F404.

The tower Xiaomi fan was fairly quiet. like less than 30decibels. till it decide to have plastic scrapping sound which is very annoying. btw, tower fans, you still need to "service" it by removing the "tube" fan vanes out, much like aircon style "drum" fan, and than you need to brush it, shampoo it. otherwise dust will build up and you have zero wind.

so after using it for extended years, I realized, panasonic F404 is simple and as amazing as it can be for rm120-140.
