SONY DVD player model MEX-DV1000 for sales at price RM780

Pioneer CD Player model 6950 for sales at price RM680

Which one is worth to buy? Not to mentioned that i like dvd player or play dvd in car. But the only "interest" i put the sony player is bcos i m looking for playing DVD-Audio disc.

1 DVD-Audio disc = 4700MB vs 1 CD disc = 700MB, in other word to say is like this:

Number Of Channels xxxxxx Bit-Rate xxxxxxx Sample-Rate xxx Play Time
6 Chan. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 24-bit xxxxxxx 96kHz xxxxxxxxx 86 min.
5.1 Chan xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 24-bit xxxxxxx 96kHz xxxxxxxxx 100 min.
2 Chan xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 24-bit xxxxxxx 192kHz xxxxxxxx 2 hours
2 Chan xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 24-bit xxxxxxxx 96kHz xxxxxxxxx 4 hours
2 Chan xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 16-bit xxxxxxxx 44.1kHz xxxxxxx 12 hours

Table 2: DVD-A Playing Time

of course, i m able to get the dvd-audio disc by myself tongue.gif

So, may be some experiences user can give some pro n cons advices. thanks notworthy.gif

I'm thinking change DV1000 too, from GT550 tongue.gif

1) as its SACD (not sure current burner hard/software support) on DVD
2) can't imagine 8.5GB DVD on mp3/wma sweat.gif sweat.gif
3) Aux in (Pioneer 6950 may has it too.)
4) CH 5.1 biggrin.gif
5) design more simple (IMO)
6) pricing on DVD biggrin.gif
