Hi

I am currently looking for a piano keyboard for pc, which you can compose songs on it

Since i am really a noob in this, please suggest something that has a wider range ( Some only have 1 or 2 octaves, i dont want that )

No , my piano is the old school piano which is the upright piano

I am thinking buying something cheap , but the range should be at least 4 octaves

54 keys keyboard starts from RM149
And 64 keys starts from RM299

The price is reasonable to me , but theres no midi output

So, if theres is no midi output , does that means that i cant connect it to my computer?

Anyone can recommend where can i buy a cheap midi output keyboard??

Its too expensive for me, i can afford that price , prefer something can done in RM400......

Actually i found some , As low as RM149 for 54 keys.

The problem is all keyboard are just "instrument"

no midi out put, nothing

Anyway , can i write scroll with the audio output? ( i think recording should be no problem, but writing scroll?)

Added on November 21, 2007, 1:08 pmLets put midi output aside , if i connect the audio output( Headphone) to my audio input , is there any program that can recode clearly? And save the file in midi? So that i can turn it into piano sheet with midi notate

Btw , i went to toyland in klcc , they are selling some cheap 54 keys keyboard , when i played , i heard a load hissing sound , and SQ really sucks , i am definately not spending my RM149 on it

So...Anyone knows where to get one ( Prefer have usb or midi output , i still accept if it doesnt have this output) cheap chaep and the quality is decent? ( SQ ok and no hissing sound , no weighted keys , i am not rich enough )

Well, if i put the midi output and usd aside , if i just want to buy to have fun , what you will recommend? I cant afford something like Yamaha or anything like that , i want a 61 keys ( Or more) keyboard with a decent SQ

I was thinking going to a toyshop and grap one 61 keys keyboard , dont care about connect to pc anymore........

Honestly if i have money , i will buy one with full 88 keys keyboard.

A decent one with weighted keys cost around RM3000

If i have money of course i am going to buy that, and after that i am going to buy a Grand piano ( My dream!!!! )

I went to Toyrus today , and i found a 61 key keyboard with midi output and input

The model is called MK-295 ( Or something like that )

The brand is MK ( Never heard b4 )

Anyway , its gaurentee it has midi op and ip , but the problem is , i dunno whether the cable is provided or not ( Midi to usb cable )

I ask the staff , she point me to other staff , and again point me to the last staff , and finally i got the answer ......" I Dunno"

OMG.....So , anyone actually buy similiar thing from there ( Btw , i found it at toyrus at avenue k , the price is merely RM419) , and can tell me is there anything else given other than the keyboard itself , eg midi cable , adapter etc etc...
