Thanks.. Managed to make the bridge mode work after using the MaxSysAdm credential.. And yes, the installer took away the old tplink router without my knowledge.  Unfortunately, i did not get the installer number as he called me using my sons phone at  the time.

for your new setup
Try doing it this way instead

Modem -> Asus -> TP-Link

this is the correct way.

asus will do the manage connection.tplink for your voip only no need to use bridgemode.

connection asus router connect lan port 3 to tplink(maxis) wan port ..profile at asus router use the iptv profie under maxis..evething be easy setup

This is the setup that i have managed to do, after enabling the bridge mode.

Modem -> TP-Link (with 4G dongle) -> Asus

Reason for using bridgemode is to enable the 4G backup sim that originally came with my maxis fiber service.  Not able to plug in my dongle directly to Asus router due to restriction doneon the dongle itself.

On another note, i thought of using the supplied TP-link with an AX23 to do the easymesh.  Unfortunately, the coverage and performace of the mesh node is so bad that i had to revert back to using Asus again.  Even without the AI mesh node, the asus router coverage and performance is so much better than EX210 + AX23 combined..

i am using the 4g dougle also my way is ,when internet down 4g backup still will run.only is need to enable bck your wifi ssid at your maxis stck router.
