tried glaco, no difference on 2010 windscreen, and 1985 windscreen.
just go back to my trusty aluminum polish, rag & elbow greese.
Autosol? I have tried, lime, dish washer, sodium bicar, adn autosol, but non of them seem effective. Anyway i tried my own hand with help of paper, clothes, without any help of tools yet.

yea Autosol brand, i think that tube is at least couple decades old too.
mainly the hard deposits where wiper does not reach, and corners of the side windows, worse was my MPV, 8 windows to suffer through cuz I only buy cars which are over a decade old.

This one right. How to do it? With the polishing tool?
IMO, if wanna do traffic film removal/ prep before coating, the traditional type with mild abrasives is still better compared to chemical type as we don't know if the chemical is masking the film or really does the cleaning.
Some spray wipe type may look wonderful but traffic film come back again after a few drives.. Also I noticed if you apply glass coating to your windshield, you dont actually need to worry too much on traffic film build up as they go away really easily after simple wash/ a proper wiper washer.
For glass coating I'd recommend to go for Glaco's Ultra/ DX. Prep/ Cleaning wise the Soft 99 Glass Refresh is nicer.

IMO, it is still better to use dedicated glass coating as the ingredient used is totally different. Certain type of wax can leave residue on windscreen, causing it to pick up dirt easier and is very hard to remove. Not to mention they may potentially cause wiper juddering issue..
