Rts will connect jb to singapore and millions will flock in between these two to find job opportunities and of course, other living needs like groceries and homes.

After rts opened, do u think jb expenses will be on par with SG while the salary will be as high as SG? 4k sgd (14k RM) for jb fresh grad?

Those who stay back to work would suffer. Biz that cater to SG tourists would prosper. Expenses n income wont be at par, probably half.

What do you mean by surpass when only SGreans earning in SGD are the only ones enjoying the cheap conversion rates while poor Malaysian taxes continue to subsidize outsiders?

More Malaysians will seek jobs in SG? SGreans say so many choices and applicants I throw SGD1.5k-SGD2k salary on the street sure got many mad dogs will fight for that.

But everything in JB become unaffordable to locals.

Again my question is surpass in what? Affordability, living standards, worklife balance?

I know you feel that you are now converted to Singaporean, earning SGD, living in SG makes u feel very high class, and can call us dogs. You are also same when u first go SG to work. Calling people mad dogs, u are also dogs!

when they advertise SGD 2K for SG lang only dem hard to find local slaves

let me be straight forward lah

If Malaysia government wise better faster follow Japan's move of implementing 2-Tier pricing blanket and float RON-95.

Diesel move alone already shaken the industry recently.

All locals who are wage earners will be priced out of it. Already happened in Australia and NZ, their housing overheated everything encompassing their local industries all shot up in price with inflation.

The main ROOT cause of this problem is the MYR currency.

Eventually the country will become more and more of a 2 world country dividing the rich and poor with districts/areas.

Just like in USA, London, Australia and even Cambodia. Multicultural countries are the worst hit victims.

It'll not benefit the local people only to landlords and developers. I have many relatives and family members living in SG FYI. Their view of current Malaysia is food haven because what afford them back in their country for 1 meal equals roughly roughly 3 meals in Malaysia.

Every month without fail will make few trips to JB to buy groceries stack until car full before returning home. Many of the items in some way are subsidized so that locals can afford for basic necessities but all wallop by them. Milk powder, dry food, canned food..

The wealth spill only benefiting the local supply chain business tycoons and land developers..

For the local wage earners still earning miserable MYR their sufferings only will increase because jobs decreasing, housing affordability becomes out of reach, no pay rise, malnourishment...

Singaporeans Call JB Residents "Lucky" Because Eating Out Is Really Cheap
https://theindependent.sg/singaporeans-call...er-cheap-there/

If you are still earning in miserable MYR, it's different story. Are local MYR wage earners benefiting?
