lovely gal... u haf the same cage like mine... but what is de blue thing on top?
*
The blue thing on top is actually plastic cover. Doggie feel more comfortable with the blue thing on top and their feet won get hurt or pain. smile.gif

huh?

Actually my darker colour retriever is bigger..coz he is 2 years old now..have achieved his full bulk and size..His head is actually very big and chunky..his body length is quite short though compared to my previous retrievers

The Cream one is still small..stretching out..so looks a bit thin these days.. i expect him to be taller and longer than the darker retriever..but his head might not be as big..he looks more stream lined lol...
*
Hehe.. I did not mean the size of the head. Actually very hard to explain, can i said that the local 1 the face is longer while the aussie 1 is shorter? I mean near the mouth there. I dunno how to explain. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Hi Lovely Gal,

Your choi choi looks very lovely - she has very kind soulful eyes. nod.gif

I think you mean the muzzle of the dog. Yes, a lot of the local breed GRs usually has narrow and long muzzle.
However, if you can see a closeup of TTY81 picture of his 2 dogs and compare them, the muzzle of the darker coloured GR is not thin or long at all smile.gif

TTY81,

Lovely dogs you have there thumbup.gif I like both! laugh.gif

hmmm... i haf tried 1x15kgz of Blackwood, 2x15kgz of Proformance n 1x18kgz of this Blue Seal.. (All also Lamb n Rice flavor)

it seems to be that she likes Blue Seal more than the other two bcz it takes very very long time to finish Blackwood n ProFormance while Blue Seal, juz a lil time...

the poo thingy.. a lil smell"ier" than Blackwood n worst was ProFormance.. i hope that i can feed her wif ORIJEN but it is juz way toooooo expensive.. the ingredient that ORIJEN use is like heaven food.. haha biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

check this out.. they rate the pet food by star http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_re...index.php/cat/1

ic..for me,ben's poo still smells even switched to proformance.as for canidae,he doesn't like the smell at all and don't wanna eat it.luckily i only bought a small pack and the rest i gave to roxy coz she's not so fussy like ben.
so blue seal is really good ah?so,poo still smells bad with blue seal ah?
i do agree that orijen is very expensive and i don't think i can afford to buy that every month.but with proformance 22kg,i can save till 3 months at least.
sorry ya,i think u shud check out jusco and see whter it's blue seal or not.i saw this packing on the website

sorry..i think a one month old puppy is too young to leave it's dam..
think people selling you the puppy isnt very responsible..hope u have the pup vaccinated already

guess you can buy some specially formulated milk for the puppy at the vet...normal milk doesnt really work well as alot of dogs are allergic to lactose

6 weeks old is better than 1 month..should be fully weaned by then..but there are other reasons why pups are not allowed to leave the dam till 2 months..but no point saying it now =)

Yeap my darker colour retriever has a big head.. long and narrow heads are really a result of bad breeding..breed standard calls for a broad head with a muscular neck...

my second retriever actually picked a fight with a bull terrier eons ago when i brought it for a dog show previously ;p..ended up with a hole in its lip..

i guess the dog that bite pple wasnt really taken care of properly..
GRs should nv be people aggresive

this is what my daisy has been eating previously.. http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_re...duct=1581&cat=6... now changed to http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_re...duct=1576&cat=6...
the reason is bcz i found out that my dog doesn't need that much of energy...

i would recommend http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_re...duct=1582&cat=6 bcz it is written http://www.blueseal.com/canine/LifeStages/PorkAndBarley.php that it has no corn, wheat or soy.. means no grain stuff which is to believe that it will be hard for our doggie to digest if there r grain ingredients in it.. it is a non halal food tongue.gif n provides plenty of energy.. that is 415kcal/cup..

i would highly recommend to go for a small pack 1st for ur doggie to try out..

yeah... when i walk my dog many ppls ask my dog look different broad head and muscular neck and body... their are long and narrow head thin and tall but our have muscular body.

Hey you join the dog show ka? it that one in south city.

Yeah you are right that GR that bite ppls he mix together with 2 GS too much even don't go a cat in his house. He have no time to take care only the maid and now he give away the 2 GS

I am lazy to join the dog show to campaign actually...if its in JB i will do it FOR fun..plus have to wait a long time before u can show ur dog for 5-10 mins..when i have to travel 4 hrs...not fun lol..

We did it only once in Melaka...won a CC...but then again the only GRs there were mine hahah...that was easily 10 years back.

i just enjoy having healthy GRs and having them comply to the breed standard IF i ever decide to breed them just for the sake of always having a retriever around me.
