do nowadays transfer to new phone took hours?

everytime bought new phone i have transferred old data to new phone ( samsung/huawei/honor/oppo ) using old style: email account.
but still took 3-4 hours. then i saw all phone pre installed 'phone clone app' but never tried.
is that the way now to transfer now. u guys transfer to new phone using phone clone? or other method? how many hours complete?

u try and then let us know la. got no money to buy new phone liao. Lat phone boughted in 2016, still working gooded. just got no 5G je..

Depends on how big storage your old phone have and how many apps.
The sync software either by phone mfr or 3rd party is pretty fast using USB.

its worth giving a shot, it works best if stay within the same brand, eg, apple to apple, samsung to samsung
since it will still be downloading apps/updates/etc, having fast wifi is quite important during the moving process

I've tried the Phone Clone app a couple of times, and it's so much quicker and easier than the email method. Last time I switched phones, it only took about an hour to transfer everything. I moved from a Huawei to a Samsung, and it worked perfectly. Definitely worth a try if you haven't used it yet!

Yup. Many hours because the USB port on most phones only support USB 2.0 transfer speeds.
Better to backup entire internal storage to an external NVME USB enclosure instead. Only few minutes.
