Why is it that US pricing for laptop is so much cheaper than MY, even on Dell own platform. Usd950(=RM4200) vs RM7490.

Gaming laptop brand that will last?, Good cooling, lasting hinge, etc

i7 with rtx4060 for USD850=MYR3740 only in US What kind of gaming laptop can you get for $850? At best, maybe something with an RTX 4050 GPU and Intel Core i5 CPU — and that’s why this deal we’re highlighting today is so freakin’ good. Right now, you can get this Acer Nitro V gaming laptop at Best Buy for just $850 — or 23 percent off its normal price of $1,100 — and this particular model is configured with a GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card and an Intel Core i7 processor. Let’s start with that processor, which is more specifically an Intel Core i7-13620H with 10 cores. That’s powerful enough to handle most tasks at top performance, and it’s bolstered by 16GB of DDR5 RAM so you have all the memory you need to multitask numerous apps and tabs. If you’re concerned about performance, you have nothing to worry about. But the star of this config is the RTX 4060 GPU, which is powerful enough to take on most modern PC games at high settings without dropping to unplayable frame rates — and those games are going to feel responsive and look great with this laptop’s 15.6-inch display, snappy 144Hz refresh rate, and IPS panel with brilliant color accuracy. It doesn’t skimp on connectivity, either. You’re getting a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, three fast USB-A 3.2 ports (one of which also conveniently supports offline charging), full-size HDMI 2.1 and Ethernet ports, a headset jack, and a Kensington lock slot. Don’t miss out on this phenomenal opportunity to score this Acer Nitro V with RTX 4060 for just $850 at Best Buy. Laptops like this frequently sit above the $1,000 threshold, and this deal won’t last forever. Amaru liked this post

This is insane, with rtx4060 n at cheaper price of USD1250(RM5500) vs here at RM8500 with rtx4050.
Gaming laptops are often bulky and expensive, but here’s one that bucks the trend both ways: the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is slim, powerful, and available at a fantastic price. Right now, you can get this mighty laptop for $1,250 at Best Buy, which is $350 off its original $1,600 MSRP. This laptop sports a fantastic AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor and 16GB of RAM, which means you’ll breeze through any game you want to play. The 1TB SSD should also be more than enough for whatever photos, videos, documents, and games you want to store. The cherry on top of this cake, however, is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, which will let you play your games with incredible visuals at near-max graphics settings. The 2880×1800 screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of brightness are also winning features that lend to you having the most stunning visual experience. When we reviewed the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, we loved just about everything about it, giving the laptop a solid 4-star rating. We found it to be light, compact, sleek, and powerfully performant: “If having a gaming laptop that’s barely even noticeable in your backpack sounds enticing, then it’s hard to overlook the 2024 ROG Zephyrus G14. If offers both extreme portability and mighty performance. But, based on its middling battery performance, you’ll still want to carry a charger with you on your gaming journeys.” Need a formidable gaming laptop that won’t weigh you down? Snag this Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 for $1,250 at Best Buy while you still can! |

This Asus TUF F15 gaming laptop that features an RTX 4070 graphics card is currently down to an unbelievable $1,100 at Best Buy, representing a $300 discount off its MSRP. This kind of laptop config usually goes for around $1,500, so this is a real deal for laptop gamers. What’s good about this laptop? For starters, it’s running an Intel Core i7-13620H processor and it has a decent 16GB of RAM. That’s enough for fast boot times and launch times for most games and apps, and if you want to upgrade it later, you can push it up to 32GB of RAM. Then there’s the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card, one of the best you can get without shelling out north of $2,000 on a laptop. Stunning visuals, maxed-out graphics settings in your games, and a flawless overall experience is what you can expect on the 15.6-inch IPS display with a 1080p resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. This Asus TUF F15 laptop also features a 1TB SSD, which should provide enough storage space for all of your games, apps, photos, videos, and more. The laptop itself is light and thin, making it easy to carry with you anywhere you need to go. Don’t miss the chance to grab this Asus TUF F15 gaming laptop for $1,100 at Best Buy because this is close to a unicorn find. |

I’d go with the Lenovo LOQ, honestly. I’ve had a Lenovo gaming laptop before, and the build quality and cooling were solid—it handled long gaming sessions without overheating or feeling flimsy. RM600 more might feel steep, but it’s worth it if you’re keeping it for a few years. I’ve seen MSI laptops struggle with durability and cooling, especially in hotter climates, and while the HP Victus is okay, the build can feel a bit cheap sometimes. If you can swing the extra cash, the Lenovo’s probably the better long-term choice.

QUOTE(david1207 @ Jul 6 2024, 01:28 AM) I had a similar choice a while back and went with the Lenovo LOQ for the build quality and cooling. It was a bit pricier, but I’ve found it’s been worth it for the durability and better performance. If you can stretch your budget a bit, the Lenovo LOQ might be the better long-term option. QUOTE(dio69 @ Aug 25 2024, 06:33 PM) If specs are all similar, I'd lean towards the Lenovo LOQ. It usually has better build quality and cooling compared to MSI, and those features can make a big difference in the long run. The HP Victus is a solid choice too, but if you’re seeing clear benefits in cooling and durability with the Lenovo, that extra cost could be worth it. QUOTE(Justjust @ Sep 1 2024, 05:58 PM) I’d lean towards the Lenovo LOQ. I’ve had a Lenovo laptop before and it was solid in terms of build and cooling. I’ve read that MSI laptops can struggle with cooling, and I’ve had mixed experiences with HP’s durability. The extra RM 600 might be worth it for the Lenovo’s better overall quality. QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Oct 24 2024, 11:15 AM) Youtube reviews for gaming laptop is the best... would give a better picture between CPU vs GPU power draw struggle. QUOTE(montaguespirit @ Jul 5 2024, 07:45 AM) If you need branded with good quality and good cooling, ASUS ROG or ASUS TUF. When I was buying my gaming notebook back then, I heard that the ASUS TUF series had overheating issues. Many reviewers pointed out that the design contributed to the problem. You might want to check into this if you’re considering an ASUS laptop. If you want to customized based on your preference, maybe you can try Illegear (local Malaysia brand). |

Why so many recommend Asus ROG? Really that good? Please tell me why... coz I'm considering for a replacement either this year or next year with budget < RM5000 for mid-range gaming spec.
Personally, mine was MSI for 6+ years... |
