For context, I'm a foreigner working in Malaysia. I resigned from my previous company in December 2023, and now I have another job offer, also in Malaysia.

In order for my current company to obtain a valid Employment Pass for me, I need to submit the latest EA form to Imigresen. The problem is that I did not receive the EA form from my previous company. I have reached out to their HR, Finance, and even the Director, but unfortunately, there has been no response from them. It was a remote job so they do not have physical office that I can come to. Now, I'm running out of options. Without this EA form, my current company won't be able to get me an Employment Visa, and I might need to retract my employment, which I clearly do not want to do.

Are there any alternatives or suggestions for this situation? Any information would be much appreciated.

complaint to IRD. they will summon your ex-employer and they will send the form to you in a flash
