Ora salesman speaking the cold hard truth and alternate solution which is honest
BYD salesman is merely giving a heads-up hoping you could buy into it, anyway a lot of charging stations does not cut short the charging duration which is the main point. Some salesman i've met even propose that not necessary to charge until 80% (20mins) per session if busy but that also means I need to plan for another session again? Pening la itu maciam.
Thai consumer body investigates BYD over aggressive discounts

Under this new promo, the BYD Atto 3 starts from THB 799,000 (~RM 103k) but while this tactic might entice some new buyers to consider, it also inadvertently ruined any trust established with existing customers.
Due to the aggressive discounting by BYD’s Thai distributor, Rever Automotive, and its dealers, Thai consumer protection authorities are investigating the matter reports Bangkok Post.
Customers complained BYD salespeople told them that prices of the cars would rise once the discount campaigns ended. Instead, the opposite happens with further discounts introduced.
Complaints were posted on BYD owners’ groups on social media with many owners sharing similar stories.
