Cloud storage is the way to go. Network and monthly payments is affordable now.

People don't want the trouble of keeping the CD and reader.

Risky.

RAID HDD is much more safer and redundancy.

I have been go through many kind of such backup media. Not 1 can last long and future proof.

Accept NAS and network.
