I am getting ads from Salesmen who selling 'Direct Import Cars' in my FB

An uncle called Abang Dconcept JE always promote his 'Direct Import Cars very famous in that circle.

One doubt is:

Are Direct Import Cars are as good as recond cars? Also noticed these guys does not have PEKEMA permit.

imho, direct import = majority are recond..
they'll provide auction report only..

If want new import has to go through AP, ask them to purchase on behalf but have to pay them for the service and 130% tax

direct import cars same as recond car in that sold in Malaysia

assuming no hanky panky thing like falsify report or duty not fully paid


direct import car = you pick that car at auction website , you sendiri pay the cost of the car + they charge u service fees ( like charge X% if u pay with cash ; X % if you buy with loan from them)
to them they are lesser risk because they no need fork out any money from their pocket other than help u facilitate all the process

recond car = they bare the cost of the car and ship over + without paying duty ..then come to malaysia and sell it ..they need to ensure atleast some profit at there because that is their investment

thats why if u buy recond car ..they only go pay the duty once u paid DP + loan approved


like if the car DOB is 2020 july ; if they pay the duty at 2024 may vs 2024 aug is different

You talking about new AP car or new CBU car?

Both are the same thing
Just that for recond, they got touch up a bit here and there before selling it

Direct import means you're dealing with raw condition

U will be shocked with the AP and duty price
End up almost double the car price
