Video claiming to show dog being abandoned goes viral online

A video claiming to show a dog chasing after the people who abandoned it has gone viral, pulling on the heartstrings of social media users.

The video uploaded by X user @ricxxxkiddo shows the adult dog chasing after the 4x4 vehicle.

As the vehicle picked up speed the dog tried its best to keep up but was eventually forced to give up.

"Those who have seen this dog in the Alam Impian, Shah Alam area please inform me. The owner just abandoned the dog. Pity the animal," said @ricxxxkiddo in the post.

Taking care of a dog is almost like another child. Need to feed, clean up it's shit, bring to vet etc. They just want it for being cute and don't want the constant care.

I used to have 1 manager keep buying new dogs because her daughter no longer likes the old ones n wants new dogs. Old dogs are abandoned. We chided the manager, she never bring up this topic in office again, but we suspect she continues her practise to abandon dogs.

Thats why i said the law should be amended to make buying dogs harder, heavy punishment for abandoning dogs that become strays

someone told me before, some ppl (especially business owners) keep dogs to 'cho ho sim' (to demonstrate goodness in hokkien), hoping to get some returns.

Just like those who became vegetarian in the 9th month.

so, they are not sincere in keeping dogs.

same goes to some who like to buy designer dogs as pets. Some of them their heart is so bad, they can call the Majlis to kill off the innocent stray dogs in the Taman. It shows they just keep dogs as a trend and to show off in social media.
