I've been messing with this issue since yesterday and still couldn't get it to work. I'm using UniFi 300Mbps plan and TM router FiberHome SR1041Y.

What I've done:
- Manually assign a static local IP and DNS via Windows 10
- Add NAT Port Forwarding rule in the router (see the attached image)

My local IP: 192.168.1.111
My public IP: 180.x.x.x (edited: 180.75.235.241)
(Edited: My WAN IP IPv4 Address: 100.105.194.126)

But when I go to https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/, it tells that the port is still closed.

Also my public IP is not the same with my WAN IPv4 Address. I read somewhere that those IPs need to be the same in order for port forwarding to work.

Any idea how to resolve this issue? Is there something with the NAT Port Forwarding rule?

you are on 300Mbps, you WAN IPv4 is in the 10.x.x.x range, so you are under private ip

you need to contact TM with a GOOD reason on why you need public IP, eg, cctv

they will COME ON SITE to verify before giving public ip

I've read somewhere that TM only gives public IP to 300Mbps and above. I'm on 300Mbps, and I should have the public IP (see the edited post). 180.x.x.x and 100.x.x.x are not private IP right?

You wan ipv4 is on private IP

Ever since the free speed upgrade in October 2023, the minimum speed for public ip is 500mbps

You are on private IP. One thing I liked about Maxis, you can subscribe to them for RM10/month regardless 30Mbps or 100Mbps.

100.x is CGNAT, and only 500mbps and above have dedicated IP now

Hi mate. Sorry for the delayed reply man. Yes you can request public IP from maxis from RM10/month. If you need further info, just go their official CS to inquire about the public IP.
