I prefer Standard Chartered because it has a share/stock platform. I find the commission rate low. And the share holding counts toward Priority status.

What kind of red-tape mind to share your experience?

Foreign one international support and network good , if you need help they can advice better.

Ahh but surprising they never ask u to open a bank account with them normally mortgage they ask to open. Pb is still ok I know of a local bank where the interface is really bad but won't mention but trust me PB still ok lagi for me at least though admittedly I heard lot of horror stories.

Bank of China branch limited. And they are not even linked to China's Bank of China. Pretty useless for private customers

Give you an example. Let's say you want to open an account in Australia or China for whatever purposes, they can arrange for you. Sometimes from the comfort of your armchair.

Not just advise. Let's say you have an account in a foreign country and you need something done. For example, updating your passport details. They may be able to do it here without the need for you to go overseas personally to settle it

last time got citi global acct , can instant transfer between 2 citi acct held at different countries with compelling fx rate.

Most foreign bank has that facilities. But nowadays, I find Wise gives even better rate.

the only other 'global' bank that i know of between aussie and here is hsbc , and that requires premier membership for such perks.

Wise is still better rates. But have no idea if you are talking about millions.
