i tried lowered the global luminosity, even till zero, but the color is till blend to background. if i lowered the final gather, then the image became dark. i'll try more. thanks sendo7

Added on September 23, 2007, 9:48 amcurrently on "my room project" which im trying to model my room. dunno if i should create a worklog thread or what..

it all started with my LCD Dell E177FP.

and i just finished on my casing. it's sidepanel and toppanel is modded to make it fancy. the side panel's sticker is made to look like a stencil paintjob (inspired by banksy).

the specs are:

Lian Li PC G7 casing
Biostar TForce 965pt mobo
ASUS gc
silverstone olimpia psu
maxtor hdd
akasa paxmate mats
custom ramcooler
Thermaltake BigTyphoon 120vx

Mental Ray 3.6 n 3dmax 2008 used.. all materials are from mental ray A&D
photoshopped for sharper image n added contrast with noise.. nothing more than that
Don mind the curtain cos i have yet to texture it with proper material
now the mr interior can compete with vray with the latest update which have better light distribution

n33d's rite. u insert a vertex in the middle from line properties. then just pull it from there..

 

Change to:
