we use 3dmax for modelling
and maya for animation  notworthy.gif
i knew ud say that... (every people say that.... hmm... ) dry.gif

yeah... max is more easier to model stuff....

max is harder than maya in animation u say... (havent try doing any animation using maya), i find it quite easy doing animation in max...

i've tried maya before, it got a lots of cool stuff, like, hair, fur... etc. (built into it...)
unlike max, u have to buy plugins..... (that's the only thing i hate about max)
but maya's ui is complicated a bit.... (always makes me mad, and started banging
the keyboard, mad.gif "where the hell is the button for this....?") laugh.gif
(and sometimes, something weird always happens when i wanna put texture to my model.... the viewport goes black.... maybe maya doesnt like my graphic card or something... dry.gif )

but i still prefer max than maya.... (more comfortable with it..) biggrin.gif

POYOZER... ur artwork r quite good.. not bad... not bad at all....
play with the lighting a bit..... texturing can be improve a bit... in some pic., the
texture looks a bit flat.... n try using ur own texture, rather than using max's,
it makes it more better.... the bathtub n the sink, could use a bit meshmooth (the
edge is too sharp).....

just some comments...

im not n expert, im still learning too....

anyway

thumbup.gif teruskan usaha...!

the third image, the robotic thingy, the edge is a bit jagged,
try increasing the AA....

the first one, a bit dark... maybe put some omnis...?

the second image, the foods looks a bit dry....

anyway....

great concept, and modeling.....

made this yesterday (got some free time), in 6-7 hours from a simple sphere to completion (lighting, texturing, rendering)

just a simple character modeling, no fancy lighting or anything, n there's only two texture used (the eyes n the scar...)
what u dont see are'nt model.... whistling.gif

rendering : 37 minutes
software : 3ds max 7 , (default scanline renderer)
light : IESsky

not the best, but, yeah.... just, ok i guess....
