The same reason why ive quit freelancing 3 years ago....Its loopsided la the industry. We do work for them, honoring the contract, but they taking theirs for granted and left us in the dark..I have payments from 9-10 years ago still pending but these ppl still have the gut to call up and ask me to do their job.

Really...i have ALOT of clientele like this and everytime they call up, i just show them my finger....literally. Sorry...eventho we are facing tough times now, i wont stoop that low just for few bucks (which is not guarantee anyways). If they cant pay during good times, they wont pay now.

My last job 3 years ago, the client refuse to pay advance and wants me to finish first. When I finally finish, i show him the thumnail and he said OK. I say pay first then can get the hi-res...he said give hi-res first then he pay. I walked away from him. Coz this is not the first time he lied.

So i give full commitment on my full time job now. I dont think staying up after work for this goons are not worth it. Im sorry but some really need the cash and i can understand that, seriously. It is just me thats all.

Sorry for the rant. Its been long time since i talk abt this to anyone.

my office models in sekejap (ketchup) all the time. Only when it comes to organic forms, my modeller will asked fer my help with max.

Then yes, 3ds the ketchup model out and render thru max. Usually we import by materials for easy application in max ie. glass, concrete etc.

If the pics are the stages of the modelling phases, then its strange. U always model symetrical figure from one side, then mirror it to the other side. Then u pose it.

U can easily get rid of noise in rendering by yankin up the lights and refraction subdivision and sample.

LOL finally sumone noticed. Yup it is. The original idea was to show somthing malaysian. obviously that one failed gloriously laugh.gif

The lady is teh mecha pilot. Shes there checking the mission status. I wanted to put cable or somesort to hint how she got down but didnt do it in the end
