QUOTE(chewxy @ Jun 28 2005, 12:57 AM) zomg! super pwnage laid by Cyprid! Thanks Chewxy! She's a girl! Do you want to hold hands with a girl with thick arms? (ok ppl, with fat fetish not counted. Watch too much CSI) BTW,all the bloom effect are done with Adobe Photoshop. I want to do all the bloom in MAX,but it was totally waste of my times, just to get the effect that can be done in few second with Photoshop.[Because the final result was totally same!] I can teach you how to do it,Chewxy. It really easy by the way..... |

I think it's better to post it here because everyone can know the fastest method of bloom rendering trick.....
Ok,lets get started. First,I will take this rendered picture using 3dsMax 5.After that open the Adobe Photoshop. ![]() After that, duplicate the layer first! ![]() OK,now go to image/adjustment setting & click at brightness/Contrast settings.[I use +36 as brightness,+80 as contrast] ![]() Now,Desaturate the image. ![]() & now, apply Gaussian blur. ![]() My setting is 5.6 as the pixels radius. Finally, change the master image setting to linear dodge. ![]() For now,you image has got a bloom on it! BTW,playing with the master opacity, gaussian radius,Brightness,Contrast will greatly effect the image. So the best way is,try to expreriment with it...... QUOTE(Tereno @ Jul 5 2005, 12:04 AM) Wow..Some very nice pieces of work guys. For all ofyou that are self-taught, do you have any tips for a beginner like me? Could you recommend me some books or some websites. Personally I thought of going for a course but I feel that it isn't so worth the money. WOuld much rather buy a book instead. And also I don't really have much time so I'm going to be doing this during my spare time. I'd like to learn about Website designing as well as mainly graphic design and this and that. Hope you guys can advise me well. Nah,really recommend this for you.Got a website design tutorial & 3d modelling tutorial & the basics.http://www.onnovanbraam.com/ |
