Who willing to drive the development that will close the 15-20 years gap? Community development sometimes fall in the hands of the people rather than gov or foreign investment which this forum could have more technical discussions then chat, the better pay is from higher currency value than RM and only collaborated efforts have a chance to tap the international stream. I was asked why my personal project took so many years to materialize and it is because I had to do it on my own, we are followers and everyone hope others will do it just like the existing businesses which could have lead and change the industry from the past but they choose to wait, the same attitude.
Digital visualization might overtake studio photography, it didn't happen to advertising as anticipated due to "protection" mechanism, what would you do if you are a photo studio? The same mechanism used to prolong old practices hence, no progress be it politic, gov servant to ordinary business, it is what kept most South East Asian countries at slow pace. since you know some artists, why not invite them to show what they are doing? This forum can change if there are participations from the real world. I had to be arrogant to slap those who continue such attitude thinking the market will improve naturally. In the Real World Issue; if the BN is serving us, there won't be PKR.

Great ideas won't materialize without proficient skill, how does an idea that got fundings but ended up a failure? Lack of professionalism and ethics.
What are the characteristics of successful ventures?

QUOTE(masashi89 @ Sep 22 2010, 07:17 PM) 3dassets thanks for the info...btw, what is blender?is it a 3D software or rendering software? btw, did anyone knows which is the best software for making a construction animation? No software is consider the best and they are like left & right hand drive, which is the best? It is features they compete with but has come to the critical point where all of them had to combine under one company (Autodesk) because no point wasting resources to develop the same thing separately while the result is the same. Blender is a full 3D application that has its share of dilemma in the past and now the counter commercial software that enslave user and supported by its side products or donation, however, its input method is not like ordinary software you would expect, nothing is drag & drop. You want the easiest and feature packed application that caters for your type of construction animation, if you start learning and expect the result in 1 month is not possible, in what quality and do you need trees or is the animation about fly though or construction process and for who to see. Getting off with the wrong foot lead you to think it is difficult and waste a lot of time for nothing.

hi all, just finish about 70% of my robot, took me about almost 8 hours to complete the modeling process ,,for time being i intentionally did it with action pose rather than typical "T" post. the pain staking process begin here deciding on the pose. normal scaline render with VRAY if you think any improvement before i did any texturing,,, feedback from all GURUS are very much appreciated... will update it once i done with the texturing work.

QUOTE(Petre @ Oct 28 2010, 01:13 PM) very nice work bro. mind share with us the lighting setup bro? n how u model the transparent curtain? thanks Added on October 28, 2010, 1:30 pmwow! been a long time since my last visit. bro, mind share about the trees? i find it difficult to get good trees... thanks bro,,, errr,, it need a lot of explanation for this chapter. but i started with this site, as for the lighting setup, u can always refer to this 'Vray render - using IRR and Quasi Monte Carlo' by Hao Ke La. just go to goggle. try to experiment with the setup given by the tutorial. in no time hopefully u can achieve what u want. as for the curtain part i use spline "if u know what i mean", from top view, use curve spline "nurbs curve to draw a wavy shape later by extruding it,,on the extrusion part give ur curtain about 12 segments. later use another modifier FFD box to curve/bend it it like beckham.
