B1 so f**king lazy, get off your fat a** and do a little bitch of research and dont ask the T5 here ka CCB
Oh I did some research alright, granted they are feedback from people from SG forums or reddit. I read that Prism doesn't have their own R&D or factory, that their TV is OEM from Hisense. So if it's faulty, it's going to be hell of a process to go through.
On the other hand, I've read customer from Hisense TV having quite a hard time repairing, returning, claiming warranty (took 1 year for a guy after about 2 years). I was a big avid fan of Mi product back 15 years; I used their OG Mi Note. But coupled with some friend's advice, Mi product doesn't stand for longevity as well. And I've personally gone through their customer service in Prangin Mall quite a few times (I think I never once had a faulty product fixed). In fact, I've read from those sources that we should generally avoid Hisense, TCL, Mi or Prism, now I understand that normally these people complaining could be the minority few who have had bad experience with the product. Hence, I'm asking here now for some "more localized" opinions. And if you can't provide any construct or useful 2 cents, maybe you should gtfo boy.
Back to the matter at hand, I've also read a review on Lowyat on this TV:
https://www.lowyat.net/2023/305479/prism-q5...ghtning-review/ and there's this sentence right at the end "But again, at that price, this isn’t the best TV in its segment on the market", so I'm only hoping people here can shed some light on the alternative. So after years of using other type of various electronic applicances (fans, fridge, aircons), I tend to believe branding is crucial when it comes to their QC and customer service. Hence, as stated in my first post, I'm wondering what's my best choice for Samsung, and perhaps Sony for that matter. And if anyone has experience using these brands, all the better.
