Hi, my house is already more than 15yrs old, bought subsale few years back and not really sure what type of water pipe previous owner use. The pipe to kitchen water supply I could see is using UPVC pipe, but the pipe from tangki to bathroom anyone can tell me is using what type?

So far already few years stay no leaking issue from any of the pipes, will be doing renovation change tiles all, and understand that PVC pipe more suitable if cold water and PPR pipe more suitable for hot/cold. The pump will remain the same as I have it changed few years before, Tsunami 0.75. Got water heater system too.

As I have been staying for few years already is it necessary to change the pipe from outside to kitchen? As I will be changing all the floor tiles and bathroom tiles as well. Wont be touching the pump and water pressure anymore as it is already enough.

Also, i would like to know from the picture the pipe from tangki to all the toilet is it using regular PVC pipe? Because if so, will plan to change the pipe to a better quality one, perhaps PPR pipe.

Hi,

That white colored pipes are likely to be for water discharge, less pressure as compared to the thin grey pipes going into your poly tangki.
those grey pipes have weak joints as usually the glue will wear off over the years.. if you're looking for better quality in-bound water pipes.. try asking for "Buteline"..

if the plumber don't know wtf is this.. then you move on to the next dude
