Just test drove the new 2024 320i LCI and used 2022 330i Pre facelift + little tuned by previous owner

I like the LCI headlamp more
But I even like the power deliver from 330i. When I accelerate it feels like an airplane taking off

Which one would you prefer to get

330i if given the two option

New 320i LCI. More spacious and comes with full BMW warranty, yes?

I'm tempted to say top up a little and get an M340i, but out of respect for the sanctity of the forum, I'll behave myself and respectfully say pick up the car that best suits your pocket.

If both cars fit comfortably within your budget, then get the one that feels better to drive - after all, you can't see what your headlights look like when you're driving, but you can enjoy the torque and extra HP more.

New LCI I can't focus driving, keep looking at the big curved screen
Yes you are right, better I enjoy looking others LCI headlamp
while Pre facelift model let me enjoy the power and feel, plus less costly to me

As a current 330i user, dont bother with 320i.. over rm240k yet basic features such as adaptive cruise control also dont have.. really not worth the price and power

Get the 330i LCI if budget permits, it has the Adaptive M suspension.

The curved display...u will get used to it after a mth or two of driving.

A lot of owner wont tell the truth, is better to bring your own BMW expert or mechanic to go check it out. A lot of time owners mod and after something happen to the engine demod and sell off. Personally already knew one person which sold off his 330i after tuning failure cause the engine block blow off (mostly too high boost) after fix back, retune/demod and faster sell off and tell the next owner the reason is to upgrade MPV for family usage.

per name it sounds trust worthy.

they will filter out those car involved in major accident/floods etc
those engine/gearbox issue- not sure they will be filter out.

yeah- got warranty for sure- but it will be a hassle.

Definitely the 330i

This is one thing I don’ t dare to do… tune up or stage 1 or 2 mod… and void the warranty….

If really want more power, just buy the next car up in the range…

What about a 2020 M340i for the same money?

If you can afford the M340i, get it.
The B58 is one of the best engines ever made.
