The screws are too long, interfering with the back plate.

Lucky the back plate is flexible plastic, can force it in.

Because lga 1700 tends to bendgate if use heavy aircooler.

Intel is no no... then now buy rtx 4080 also no no... 5000 series mau out liao.

TS should wait or go for AM5.. it's long lifetime support. Not like intel.. nearly every generation will update socket.

They are both similar in the case of function. The differences between mb chipsets are a more practical comparison. What components do you want it to support and at what frequency? Price, qvl, and limitations. What fan rpm you can get away with using what type of CPU at what tdp, under what type of cooler... The considerations are too many to make a which one is better comparison between socket or platform.
Operating environment, noise tolerance, temperature limit, frequency target, cost, upgrade path and exit strategy... All these are different to different people.

Personally, I choose the Intel platform as they often are the ones to set the standard. Throughout my experience, lesser warranty count. Their motherboard has lesser BIOS updates signifying a more stable and mature platform. However, one can also argue that more updates show better after sales support, but in my preference, I prefer a component to work as is, instead of various patches to complete the product AFTER it is sold.
For other considerations, my preferred CPU is 14400f, which if compared to 8400f or 8700g, has higher core counts, and brand loyalty. Although AMD's counterpart has better RAM latency, slightly higher frequency, and perhaps better bang for the buck.

I tested one before, there is no temperature difference. It is more of a preventive measure.
