anyone encountered this error when passing through the toll booth?

fitted a new one yesterday and had this error today morning when trying to pass through - all properly activated through the TNG app already.

where you stick the rfid sticker?

in the area where they recommended.

u got other rfid on car is it?

seems like the error came from not detecting your rfid, and instead, it detect other rfid.

maybe u broke it kot during installation

Sticker got kinks (places inside the car / due to excessive heat) or damage from stone chips (if placed at the headlight).

In the Klang Valley, RFID mcm tak laku.
Most toll plaza will have at least two smart tag lane and only one RFID lane, correct me if I'm mistaken.

I only kena when after going through a 30mins highway speed 80kmph downpour from Tanjung malim to juru toll

In sungai buloh, out tanjung malim time okay
In TJ malim toll also okay
Arrived at juru toll cannot detect, even when the guy bring out 2 unit handheld unit try to scan also cannot work

Last last they check system and charged me accordingly

Later check the chip area plastic like delaminated and have a pocket at the middle chip area

Now I just self stick inside the windscreen, above typical road tax location

So far KL Penang toll no problem

They recommend? Front headlights?

Kek, mine is installed by them during the free period
The car not exactly daily drive, parked covered area

Kena one time heavy rain the chip long

Self buy and just stick to the windscreen

nope, it's a brand new car and it's the only RFID applied on it.

it's a brand new RFID. fitted it yesterday and today morning already kena.

Very likely their system not fully updated. Best to wait 24-36 hours after installation.

then you probably had a faulty RFID liao. can go TnG fitment center and flip table.

hmm... i activated it on 14/6/24 though.

npe they have 2 smart tag lane + 1 RFID/smart tag lane. The RFID always jam. Hope they increase more RFID lane.

Did u have enough balance in ur tng wallet when u pass toll before. I happen to encounter this when I did not have enough balance in my ewallet and tng system deactivated my rfid till I top up the card to cover the prev insufficient balance.

they cannot accept highway operator is replacing smart tag with RFID and leaving only 1 lane for smart tag
so they complain online...which result in changing back to what we saw today

how far away from metal?

From my rides with KL Grab drivers is, if smart tag not working can use TnG or their IC, where as RFID need to reverse to detect, including all the car that queue behind have to reverse to give space for the culprit.

IF car behind bodo and no reverse everybody stuck!
