They are only good in the 80s and early 90s. Their last 2 albums doesnt even excite me.

I owned 2 of their greatest hits album, 101, 3CD remix album, devotion tour and speak and spell deluxe edt set

What? Playing The Angel is equal to Violator imo. Fantastic stuff.

i knew their existance when i was primary school. But i only get into em deeply & "attach" to them completely since last year.

I love every albums from them. Especially Song of faith & devotion album seems like a perfect album. Black Celebration come to 2nd best album.

Ultra is a good & dark sound.

Exciter & Playing the angel is not my favo. But "Precious" is the song that made me wanna search the mystery of this legendary rock band. (Obviously i was pretty late to find my mood to indulge in this band.)

Overall, the best memorial track from DM is "Enjoy the Silence". The MV is interesting. One of the best MV in my list..haha.
(Well, i was hating this funny looking MV the first time i watched on TV..Imagine back to many years ago, a plain kid where got so artsy-minded.)

My fav tracks are sung by Martin Gore. A Question of Lust, Somebody and Home. I think he reserved the best songs for himself.

they r the ancestor of dark Industrial like Nine inch Nails, black light burns, m manson & etc, those groups worship DM,but i love the most is their Ultra album, much more into darker style.violator is not bad too although that's their chart topping album.

Ha ha The one where Dave Gahan dressed like a King walking in the snow! ...Priceless!!!!

I have less of their albums but have a good collection of their Singles...just love their remixes..

I am still looking for a +-40min version of 'Enjoy The Silence' ...there's about 5 minutes of the orchestra which binds to my mind. Any of you guys have this single?

WAH 40mins of ENJOY THE SILENCE????!!! original done by DM??

Issit a short film or a piece of music?

A music got blank fill of 30 something minutes... I knew alot of CD rear tracks like to haf such surprises.. Such as M.Manson wif 99 tracks .

Yeah, DM got more alot of classic songs than M.Manson & NIN. But for the revolutionary leader i still prefer NIN.

Yes, I have the Mike Shinoda's remix.
and
yes, it's original DM track with 40 over minutes for that track. I have part of it in cassette which is now KOed! The recording was done by Victoria Music many many years back. It was the last track and got cut off. They also did not state what remix was that..that's why I couldn't get them to record back for me in my next visit.
