My girlfriend hit the side road curb with the myvi car. Need advise before going to workshop. What can I do?

If the clips are broken , its either change the whole bumper or attach a clip fixed onto the bumper, it will look ugly but will close the gap ..

diy replacing bumper clip, cuci sikit

Also ask you GF to make up for the damage , ask her to open her bumper like what she did to the MyVi bumper ...

i see. thanks for the replies. how about the scratch? is it fixable diy? or professional polish needed? or is it too deep?

want cheap just go for clipping

otherwise not cheap go for workshop paint job

what do u mean by clipping?

just push it back into the bumper bracket.... worse case is ear on bumper is ripped off, and or clips on bracket is broken.

if really no idea how to do, go nearest workshop/bodyshop ask for help, expect pay yam cha or more money

scratches, since below bumper & not visible from eye level, just ignore unless willing to spend $ on respray. some polishing compound may recude the obvious sign.

if DIY, free. knowledge also free.

See if you can push it back or clip back if no other seriously issues just ignore no need go workshop

Changing the original bumper without paint include shopeepricing already 480?580? The side panel the bumper you pull out inside the panels have one attachment for bumper to clip in that thing probably cost RM 36?56? Then those black color clip some sell RM 50 cent's some RM 2 to5 , then banana leaf if clip hole missing to replace probably RM 50 or 100 ? If paint the bumper probably start from RM 300 i guess?

If nothing is seriously just ignore especially already damage imagine already repair then damage again by your gf, i mean my wife also did the same every single time done repair don't know when damage again,if can wait until enough damage only do it one go 😂
